Research Animal Facility Equipment: Modules
Charles River Laboratories offers self-sufficient and ready-to-use lab
units. Our “modules” consist of a prefabricated structure that has been
designed for animal housing or high biosecurity level (BSL1, 2, or 3)
facilities. The level of protection is maintained by both the barriers and the
air conditioning system, which can provide negative or positive air pressure
depending on intended use (vaccine production, contaminated animal housing and
transgenic animal breeding vs. conventional and clean animal housing).
